Have you ever wondered how you would shoot skeet or trap with a muzzleloading shotgun? Or did you even know there was such a thing as a muzzleloading shotgun? Well you’re in luck. On Friday, September 26, to Sunday September 28 Prairieland Frontiersmen are sponsoring muzzleloading skeet and trap Territorial Shoot at the Effingham County Sportsmans Club, for the National Muzzleloading Rifle Association.
The public is invited to come and watch. A wide variety of muzzleloading shotguns will be used. They will be the old style Smokepole shotgun to the modern style Front Stuffer. The hours are from 8:00am – 4:00pm. There will be experts on hand to answer any questions.
